Durst UK managing director Graham Evans said being able to relocate to a more convenient location would provide better facilities for product training and meeting customers.
"Both our customers and engineers will benefit from the new location," said Evans.
The firm will now be able to demonstrate new products such as its two new flatbed ink-jet printers, the Rho and the Rhopac, which claims to be the world's first dedicated UV flatbed printer for the packaging industry.
The move to the new office site at Pride Park is part of Durst's worldwide expansion, part of which has included doubling the size of its manufacturing facility at Lienz in Austria.
