Two finishing lines based on its latest booklet maker the DBM 500 were launched, the System 5000 and the Duetto (see Product of the Week, p26).
It also launched the Jud MR 270 perfect binder.
We believe this machine will let us get a significant share of the digital perfect binding market, said Duplo International managing director Robin Greenhalgh.
The single-clamp machine has adjustment-free clamping, nipping and cover scoring and is capable of producing 600 books per hour. It costs 26,500 and also has the option of using PUR glue.
