The A3 colour machine features a rotary ink and master system, which Duplo said allows it to output 120ppm, with the cost per copy dipping below standard photocopier click charge rates.
The Duprinter can print on a maximum area of 297x432mm at resolutions up to 300x600dpi. It can also handle substrate weights ranging from 53–210gsm.
In addition, the DP-J450 offers 12 colours with optional spot colour, and features a range of functions such as enlargement and reduction, as well as text and photo printing modes.
Angela Osborne, UK trade manager at Duplo International, said the printer offered "multiple features" that complement the existing range of Duprinters.
The DP-J450 is available now and retails for £5,850.
