With Drupa into its second week, exhibitors should by now have nailed the new Drupa song ‘Let us Create the Future’ – but just in case not Printweek is here to help with a handy sing-a-long guide.

Building on the rich tradition of Drupa songs that dates back to 1986, the catchy tune has been composed by Julius Trautvetter.

The Hamburg-based producer wrote and produced the song together with Hallgrimson Entertainment Group (The HEG).

It is sung by Gerald Oppong and Maria Nicolaides.

“The sector’s sense of community, joy in reunions, creativity, colours, future and innovation are some of the key themes in the song that symbolises the attendees’ great anticipation of Drupa after eight years of absence,” the Drupa organising team noted.

“With it’s catchy beat, the pop song invites exhibitors and visitors to shape the future of the industry together.”

Drupa song 2024: ‘Let us Create the Future’ lyrics

There’s no need to hide no more (hide no more)

No need to kick in open doors (open doors)

I know what you’ve been waiting for (waiting for)

Come join me…

Our world can be so colourful (colourful)

Kaleidoscopic festival (festival)

The stage is set, the curtain falls (watch it fall)

Can you feeeeeeel it…

Let us create the future of print and design

Invite the world and let colours shine

Let’s sync our visions and have a good time

Drupa 24 will treat you right

Come fly with me

Unite with me

I know things that you will want to see

Aim high with me, ally with me

Drupa’s back and baby so are we

Drupa 24…

Uh oh oh oh, uh oh oh, uh oh oh, oh oh oh oh

Uh oh oh oh, uh oh oh, uh oh oh, oh oh oh oh

Come fly with me

Unite with me

I know things that you will want to see

Aim high with me, ally with me

Drupa’s back and baby so are we
