Based on the hit BBC show, which sees inventors and entrepreneurs attempt to get funding for innovative ideas from four millionaires, the Lions' Lair will see eight exhibitors pitching ideas to a panel of packaging experts.
The first company to take on the Lions will be auxiliary packaging equipment manufacturer Lageen Tuboplast, which will be showing off its clear tube product.
Other companies that will be taking on the Lions include bottle manufacturer Neville and Moore, Labelling manufacturer Smart Tab Product, packaging equipment Jenton Group and packaging manufacturer Promens Packaging.
The event will take place on 16 and 17 February at 1pm, with four companies featured each day. One company a day will be chosen as the overall winner.
The panel of experts includes Phil Huggett of Sainsbury’s, Packaging News editor Josh Brooks, James Fletcher of PepsiCo International and Sarah Leveridge of Mothercare.
