Joint administrative receivers Bernard Hoffman and Ian Douglas Yerrill of Gerald Edelman were appointed by Bibby Factors on 29 May.
The assets of the 13-year-old firm were bought 12 days later by a new company led by directors Gary and Darren Rogers, which will trade as the KL Group from the same premises at Gillingham Business Park.
A 5 June statement said Kent Litho was undertaking a "restructuring programme... which also includes a new corporate identity. The original company has been officially put into liquidation, allowing the KL Group to go forward under a brand new image". But at this stage Kent Litho was already in administrative receivership.
