Former Capital Paper (Holdings) Group company secretary and finance director Graham Berry has returned to buy the goodwill and assets of Zodiac Paper, Provincial Paper, Panther Paper and Waltham Paper from the administrative receiver.
Berry said the new company, Beever Paper, will retain all the 35 employees left at the four operations.
"We will have four sites at Kettering, Shenfield, and Watford, with our headquarters at St Pauls in the City," said Berry, who will take on the role of joint managing director with Peter Symonds.
Berry joined forces with former Zodiac Paper managing director Symonds, who was in charge of the company prior to its sale to Capital Paper five years ago.
Berry was with Capital for 20 years, prior to his departure in September. The company was put into administrative receivership last month.
A spokesman for administrative receivers Kroll Buchler Philips said they hoped to announce further deals in the coming weeks.
