Photography for the item was chosen from a selection of 11,000 entries to Countryfile's Animals in Action viewer competition.
The calendar was printed on a Heidelberg Speedmaster SM102-10P long perfector using 300gsm LumiSilk paper from PaperCo for the cover and 170gsm for the content pages.
Tim Vauxhall, director of The Art of Design, said: "We get involved with lots of different printers. Gemini ticked all the boxes in this case.
"There are a number of things we look for when choosing printers, including environmental standards and the equipment the company has."
Both Gemini and PaperCo had their logos featured on the back of the calendar.
Design group teams with printer for BBC charity calendar
The Art of Design has enlisted Shoreham-based Gemini Press to produce this year's BBC Countryfile Calendar, which it is hoped will raise 300,000 for Children in Need.
