He said Kodak (Hall 5, stand F09) had "the widest and deepest portfolio to serve hybrid printing" and added that it had come to the show with "the largest set of new launches we have ever exhibited at drupa".
However, Perez was circumspect about whether Kodak would join those firms licensing Landa’s Nanography. "I will meet with Benny [Landa] and we’ll talk about everything," he said. "I think we have the solutions we need, but anyone who comes with innovations to this industry should be made welcome."
He added that drupa 2012 would be a key event for Kodak and the wider print industry: "A good result at drupa will allow this industry to come out stronger in a worldwide economy that's still weak.
"Drupa is especially important for us this year and we are expecting a successful drupa. There is already a feeling that customers are coming to see us from all over the world."
