Deadline reached for Senior Graphic Machinery sale

The administrator for Heidelberg cylinder press supplier Senior Graphic Machinery has set a deadline of today (12 March) for offers for the business.

Julian Pitts, of Begbies Traynor, was appointed as administrator of the £1.5m-turnover company on 5 February 2010.

Begbies has continued to trade the Wakefield, Yorkshire-based business, but has made two staff redundant.

A spokeswoman for the insolvency practitioner said: "Begbies Traynor has had a number of expressions of interest for the business but we are still looking to sell.

"Two members of shopfloor staff have been retained within the administration to facilitate the parts and engineering side of the business, in addition to an accounts clerk and the director."

Senior Graphic Machinery supplies repurposed Heidelberg cylinder presses for a number of finishing processes, including die-cutting, creasing, embossing and hot-foil stamping.
