The Cheshire-based firm, which recently relocated from Pensby to a new 93sqm base on Neston's Clayhill Industrial Estate, provides businesses with direct mail, print management and fulfillment and postage services.
It has secured new contracts in the past few months with companies including Onepost, Mantis UK and Staingard.
The Onepost contract, which started earlier this year, saw DDM selected as the postal consultancy firm’s postal services partner in the North West.
Onepost has recently started setting up hubs across the UK in areas including the North West, London and Belfast to help it manage its operations.
The first contract DDM has won through the Onepost arrangement is with Flintshire County Council. It will see the firm collect up to 5,000 letters, parcels and other packages daily from the council’s offices in Flint and Mold before processing them and passing them on to Royal Mail for final delivery.
Another recent contract addition through the Onepost arrangement is with holiday cottage company Sykes Cottages.
"We manage all sizes of post, from letters to large letters as well as packets, parcels and courier items nationally and internationally," said director Vanessa Williams.
“The Onepost contract is a fantastic opportunity for us. We will get a processing payment for every letter that we post and the contract as a whole is worth around £30,000 a year.”
Other recent contract wins include deals with furniture company Staingard and home and garden specialist Mantis UK. DDM manages high-volume print requirements including magazines for Staingard, and the printing of brochures and inserts for Mantis UK.
“Our ability to provide Mantis with a fixed-price postal solution cheaper than other providers helped us to clinch that contract. We’re quoting all the time for other smaller contracts too,” said Williams.
The company’s other clients include West Ham United, Surrey County Cricket Club and Wirral-based hairdressing and beauty product supplier Salons Direct.
DDM Mailing has a turnover of £200,000 and eight staff including Williams and co-founder Dave Dooley, two mail processing staff and four drivers.
