The £700,000-a-year Nottingham-based company bought a new CP Bourg BB3002 single-clamp perfect binder and a CCM Premier 115 guillotine.
Both machines were purchased to replace ageing machinery and Daybrook is now looking to increase its productivity with the new equipment.
Daybrook managing director Jamie Mathers said he was attracted by the versatility of the equipment: "We are a trade print finisher that takes pride in the wide range of tasks we can undertake, so the equipment needs to be very flexible.
"The BB3002 is great for anything from one copy to about 5,000 books; it will handle a wide range of stocks and there are plenty of options for winged covers. You get a lot for your money with a BB3002."
Daybrook Print Finishing has just completed a move into new premises, which it shares with Sherwood Print Finishing. Its services include fold/stitch/trim, perfect binding, Wire-O binding and die-cutting.
Daybrook aims to boost productivity with double purchase
Daybrook Print Finishing has upgraded its kit with a double purchase of finishing equipment from Terry Cooper Services.
