According to Paul Lowe, a director of the Bidford-on-Avon-based commercial printer, the CCM machine is faster and easier to run than its predecessor – as well as being more productive.
He said: "We try to update machines every other year or so and this is the latest in that continuing investment.
"It has a deep clamp opening which enables us to cut bigger paper stacks, and side air tables which improve handling.
"Another major difference is the programming capability of the new machine, it stores and recalls jobs quickly, by name, and the control interface is excellent."
The new machine has a 115cm width and is one of the latest "Premier Plus" models.
Bloomfield dates back more than 100 years, but has existed in its current form since Lowe bought the company in 1991. It has a turnover of around £600,000 per year and has nine staff.
