Starting in the new role in June, Bunney has been with the digital press and letterpress and flexo plate manufacturer since May 2021, coming in as commercial director before becoming its UK managing director around 18 months ago.
Before joining the business he had worked for companies including Danish graphic arts supplier Jørgen Windelev and aluminum packaging specialist Ball Corporation.
Having been instrumental in overseeing all activities in the UK, including Dantex’s digital division based in Corby as well as its analogue and consumables business in Bradford, Bunney’s new role will now include the group’s subsidiary companies and foreign markets, while continuing to work closely with the CEO to continue driving the company forward.
Bunney said: “Continuing to lead such a talented team and managing a dynamic product portfolio is a source of great pride for me and I very much look forward to further developing and driving the company’s progress.”
Dantex Group CEO Ben Danon added: “Richard has been instrumental in advancing Dantex’s UK company, consistently embodying the core values and philosophies that define the company.
“Under his leadership, Dantex Graphics has experienced robust growth and development, with a strategy that can now be deployed across our group. I am thoroughly looking forward to supporting Richard in his new role.
“Collectively, we are committed to reinforcing a unified strategy across the group – one company, one goal, one success.”
