The West Midlands-headquartered graphics and label business welcomed the PicoColour two weeks ago, as part of a £350,000 investment.
The reel-to-reel press is suitable for short- and medium-run jobs. It can accommodate a printing width of 210mm and prints on a variety of substrates up to 300 microns thick.
It is also manufactured in Britain, something that was important to Customark, which itself is a UK firm that supplies to customers globally.
Managing director Neil Turner said: “Over the past 10 years Customark has invested heavily in wide-format digital and UV flatbed digital equipment to support the growth in low volume labelling opportunities.
“We are sure that the new PicoColour reel-to-reel digital machine will expand our print capability and move us into higher-end short-run better added-value markets.”
