Jim Daniels, managing director of the trade books division of CPI, is celebrating 40 years in the industry this month.
CPIs trade division comprises paperback specialists Cox & Wyman and Mackays of Chatham where Daniels began his career in 1962 as a bookbinding apprentice. Daniels steadily climbed the ladder at Mackays , moving up to bindery overseer, bindery manager, works manager, works director and finally managing director.
CPI acquired Mackays in September 2000.
"Its a wonderful industry and Im delighted to still be enjoying it as enthusiastically as ever," Daniels said.
