The XP24 has been installed alongside CRP’s Bickers automated gluing machine in the company’s display production hall and is already operational.
CRP, which specialises in areas including POS display, litho packing and direct food contact packaging, said the XP24 offered new levels of productivity by providing accurate handling of the most challenging materials.
"With a working area of 1680x3200 mm, the machine cuts the most complex designs and links with CRP’s digital print offering, to enable production of large pallet displays and MU’s," it said. "It can produce up to 1,000 units economically and efficiently."
CRP’s display business manager David Alliston said the XP24 set a new standard in digital cutting, and had an ability to handle larger sheet sizes and layouts.
"It produces a massive increase in productivity, twice that of most other competitive solutions," he said. "This not only results in improved turnaround time to our customers, but provides the most economical solution for pallet display units."
