Launched at the start of September, CreationLink is designed to offer Creation's clients deliver faster ordering, an accelerated service for repeat work and 24-hour production, and the Northamptonshire-based outfit is already using it to run 70% of its customers' jobs.
It combines Creation's MIS and Esko WebCenter programmes, enabling customers to take jobs from artwork to plate production using the same interface, which is developed specifically for each client.
Specialising in packaging artwork, repro and plate production, Creation is now promoting the software as its USP to potential new global partners. With the new software, it aims to meet growing demand for shorter runs and reduced lead times, as well as reduce customers' environmental impact by streamlining their processes.
“Our whole motivation was to reduce the amount of time eaten up by admin – increasing our throughput to be faster, more efficient, and more accurate,” said managing director Matt Francklow.
“It was a massive culture shock for us at first, but it is something we now want to shout a lot louder about.
“We are developing further every day to keep up with certain demands. Brand owners need to be reassured their integrity will be maintained and our pharmaceutical clients need their packaging and labelling to meet certain legal requirements.
“Continuing to refine CreationLink, and listening to our current customers’ feedback, we believe we have created something reliable, as well as user-friendly, and an invaluable interactive dashboard.”
CreationLink enables all production, distribution and accounts information to be held in one computerised system. The information is then integrated with other applications within Creation, allowing the company to collaborate and communicate with all partners in its packaging and printing supply chain.
Daventry-based Creation has 18 staff and turns over £1.9m.
