Colour Systems has invested 300,000 in Dalim Ficelle from Turning Point Technologies to be installed later this month.
The deal includes an SGI origin 2100 server, which will make it the largest SGI server in the UK graphic arts market.
Colour Systems managing director David Brin said: "Our software developers will be liaising through Turning Point with Dalim in order to make modifications to Ficelle that will set us apart from everyone else."
The Ficelle web-based production and tracking system will be integrated into Colour Systems existing workflow, which includes Dalim Twist, Xinet Web Native and Fullpress.
"Repro isnt about scalpels and film anymore, its about technology. Turning Point Technologies shares our attitude and this is why we chose to work so closely with them," said Brin.
Colour Systems has 130 employee and its customers include IPC, Haymarket and Emap.
