Capture One processes RAW files from professional and DSLR cameras into JPEG and TIFF files, providing control of exposure, contract, sharpness, noise and conversion to black and white.
It is available in two versions – Capture One 4 and Capture One 4 Pro – the latter adding additional tools including soft proofing, ICC colour profile application and CMYK output.
The Pro version also enables Phase One cameras and Canon DSLRs to be operated tethered to the computer for greater control.
In addition, Phase One has upgraded both to version 4.6, which offers faster processing and higher quality, extends tethered shooting to Nikon DSLRs and adds compatibility with new cameras from Canon, Nikon and Olympus.
Colour Confidence seals deal over digital workflow tool
Colour management specialist Colour Confidence has signed a deal with digital photography firm Phase One to sell its Capture One digital imaging workflow tool.
