Formerly Agfa UK/Eire product marketing and channel manager, Collins will head up the Swavesey, Cambridge-based business's new equipment sales of Agfa and Mimaki machines, promotional activity and be responsible for building the Josero brand, allowing managing director Loic Delor to focus on the broader business and its specialist secondhand business.
"Josero is an authorised partner for Agfa which is how we initially met Steve. Over time we have struck up an excellent professional relationship and I’ve been impressed with Steve’s knowledge of the wide-format print market,” said Delor.
"His ability to deal in a complex, multi-layered sales environment combined with his positive and approachable manner will be a great asset to Josero and we’re delighted to welcome him to the team.”
One of Collins' tasks will be to increase the market’s awareness of the eight-strong firm’s depth of technical expertise and its own engineers.
Collins said: “Josero has expanded its portfolio extensively over the past few years as a partner for both secondhand and new wide-format UV printers for Agfa, as well as becoming an official Mimaki partner last year.
“There is so much potential with this role and I’m very much looking forward to working with Loic and his team to contribute to the expansion of this growing business.”
