UK digital print came out on top in this year's Xeikon Diamond awards contest, with CMYK Digital Print Solutions and Moonpig making it a winning double.
CMYK's winning entry in the large-format category was a point-of-sale clear polyester banner produced for Penguin books using a Xeikon DCP/50D.
D4 Digital finished second in the same category for its exhibition booklet.
In the one-to-one marketing category, CMYK finished second with its Toyota Previa direct mail postcard for Saatchi & Saatchi.
Moonpig, which produces personalised greetings cards over the Internet, won its award in the e-commerce sector, and has just taken delivery of its second Xeikon CSP 320D.
Now in its fifth year, the competition received a record 200 entries from over 20 different countries.
"This year's entries have increased not only in quantity, but also in quality, and demonstrate Xeikon's capabilities," said vice president for Europe, Guy Van der Colen.
In the labels and packaging section, Simpson Label of Scotland finished in third place with its self-adhesive labels for Anna Ryder paint and interior decoration products.
Overall winner for innovative and creative use, went to a:prico of Hamburg for its Silver Surfer lamp and lampshade, and a special mention was given to US firm Concept Printing, for a large-format artwork catalogue for Fine Arts.
PrintWeek editor in chief Jo Francis was on the panel of judges.
