The Essex-based company won the contract to produce the 96+4pp magazine, which was previously published by Ink Publishing after the latter's contract expired and CityJet set about searching for a new publisher.
Velocity has a print run of 21,000 and is printed on FSC stock.
CityJet carries around 100,000 passengers each month in and out of London City Airport and the magazine, which will be published as a launch issue this month, and then monthly from September, has been redesigned to target an audience "sitting somewhere between a magazine and a book in terms of creative execution".
Stream Publishing managing director Darren Styles said: "Our pitch was a bold one, in concept and execution, and we are delighted to have so sparked our new client's imagination."
