Some 108 pairings out of 115 were successful in the latest trials, which took place in Vancouver in July, between 35 products from 32 firms.
"There have been 284 successfully tested product pairings over the course of five events," said Heidelberg head of research and development and CIP4 technical officer Rainer Prosi. "The trend speaks for itself."
As well as increasing the number of pairings tested, there was also an increase in the percentage of successful pairings.
"We saw a 10% increase in the rate of successful pairings at the Vancouver interoperability testing," said EFI senior principal scientist Doug Belkofer.
