CreoScitex will show a new version of Spire, its server for digital printing, at Chicagos Print 01 next week.
The new Spire will drive Xeroxs FutureColor press as well as the DocuColor 2060 and 2045 colour presses.
A spokesman for CreoScitex said that the latest versions of the Spire Colour servers would be released in the UK in about six weeks time.
Spire has been in the UK for about nine months now, with some 100 units so far installed. Worldwide it has sold nearly 1,000.
Other items that will be on view at the Chicago exhibition include Staccato stochastic screening, colour management software Profile Wizard Suite version 2.1, and the new entry-level CTP workflow Brisque Entro.
