Charterhouse lands AirMiles deal

Six months after investing in its technical delivery arm, Charterhouse has won its first major contract to manage data on behalf of AirMiles.

The Hatfield-based print management company will now manage all of AirMiles' data processing and data cleansing using Cygnus Software. The deal covers Airmiles' 4.5m yearly statement mailings and various weekly trigger campaigns.

Charterhouse has managed AirMiles' print requirements since 2003 and, according to the firm, the win will let it offer an "end-to-end integrated data and delivery service".

"Our ability to offer both is a key part of Charterhouse's offering," said managing director Mike Newman.

The three-strong technical delivery team will be working both on-site at the AirMiles office and at Charterhouse headquarters.

- Charterhouse secured two multi-million pound contracts this year with financial services provider Cattles in February and golf supplier Callaway in August.
