Charterhouse adds to European expansion with Zurich office

Charterhouse has announced plans to setup a new office in Zurich, Switzerland following a recent contract win with Renault Switzerland.

The print management company already has offices in Amsterdam, Brussels, Stockholm and Warsaw. It said it now plans to expand further into Europe.

The new contract with Renault, said to be worth around €10m (£7.9m), was signed last week. Items included marketing collateral and PoP will be outsourced by the print management giant.

Charterhouse already has a contract with the car manufacturer in the UK.

Gary Mahoney, chief executive of Charterhouse, said: "We already have a foot in Europe, but this allows us to explore the local supply chain and drive new business.

"Renault are amongst our top clients and it's great that they've extended their relationship with us. Print management is said to be going through hard times, but we've proved that good companies are still winning work."

Anthony Hawkins, a Charterhouse board director, said: "Our office in Zurich will enable us to support Renault and several other new clients in the region with the high level of support and responsiveness we are known for.

"These latest contract wins reinforce our belief that European companies are looking for a fresh and innovative print management solution - a solution that Charterhouse is able to offer very successfully."
