The web-based system uses a high-speed document conversion engine, which enables the same information to be used to create print and online versions.
CGI Squared managing director John White said: The i-version solution is designed to address the growing demand from clients that want to publish their documents simultaneously in printed format and on the web.
CGI believes the application is ideally suited to the financial services, pharmaceutical and shareholder communications markets.
I-version comes as either a managed or self-service subscription, depending on the level of client-control required. In both cases, all data is hosted in CGI data centres and is available 24 hours a day.
