Odds had been director of strategy and market propositions at Communisis for just over four years. Prior to that he was director of content and strategy at Editions Financial, which was acquired by Communisis in 2013.
He took up his new role as marketing and innovation director at comms, content and BPO agency CDS this month.
Mark Gair, managing director of CDS, commented: “Adrian brings a wealth of relevant experience to our team, having held previous leadership posts across marketing and business development. He is passionate about ensuring brands understand their purpose and values, while focusing on customer engagement to drive sustainable growth – and we’re looking forward to seeing his work.”
Odds said he was delighted with the new position, and was looking forward to working with the CDS team “to drive our growth aspirations across both the public and private sectors”.
CDS made a substantial investment in a new behavioural insights wing in June, which included a number of new hires.
The company is part of the Bailie Group.
