Media Zest specialises in PoS display technology, providing digital projectors and LCD screens to clients that include Microsoft, Motorola and Sony.
It has started working with east London-based Capital in the past month, offering the printer’s retail clients PoS products such as wafer-thin screens that can be integrated into vinyl window displays or interactive animated floor panels.
David Gill, founder and managing director of Capital, said: “As a company, we believe in looking towards the future for PoS.
“Media Zest share our commitment to innovation and represent the perfect partner to meet the diverse needs of our clients. By embracing an expanding market sector, we can now provide a full spectrum of display solutions.”
Caroline Kay, account manager at Media Zest, added: “Working with Capital demonstrates our dedication to traditional PoS printing methods, which are a vital form of advertising.”
Gill added that the partnership did not involve any financial transaction, but would instead mean that Capital and Media Zest would refer clients to each other.
News of the tie-up came as former decathlon champion Daley Thompson officially opened Capital’s new plant in Beckton, east London, to print buyers and other visitors.
The event had an Olympic theme in reference to Capital’s enforced departure from its Stratford site to make way for the London 2012 Olympics Games.
