Jupiter Visual Communications was established as a new wholly owned, standalone business in July after Ben Moss joined the Callprint Group as a board director after taking a ‘significant’ stake in the business.
Jupiter, which is named after one of Moss’s former businesses, focuses on the management of special, large-scale projects in the live events, retail, sports, transport hub and property sectors. It forms part of Callprint’s strategy to grow its turnover from around £12.5m to £25m over the next two years.
The four new team members, who started in their new roles earlier this month, include former C3 and McKenzie Clark sales director Brian Judge, who joins as business director, and Mark Haines, formerly key account director at Jupiter before joining Icon three-years ago, also joins the team as business director.
Alex Davenport, who was at Jupiter for 10 years, also joins the new team along with former Icon head of projects Scott Grant. Moss has worked with all of the recruits at his former businesses.
The team will be based at Callprint’s Farringdon site with future expansion into Birmingham and Liverpool planned in the coming months.
“I am delighted to have added this experienced team to help strengthen and grow the Jupiter business,” said Moss.
“We have been really pleased with the first quarter and the reaction from clients to the relaunch of our historic company name has been fantastic. Jupiter was originally founded in 1992 and many of the existing clients dealt with us way back in the early years.
“We have already networked into the core Callprint client base and this is an area we are set to develop further. By early 2015 we should see the team working at full capacity with our company already being profitable and cash generative so it’s been a promising start. Recruitment of further top-level staff will be key in our expansion plans.”
Callprint Group, which was established in 1992, has around 190 staff across 18 UK locations and operations in Dubai and India.
