Khan, who, in his former role as head of business development for Böwe Systec’s international sorting business is credited with selling the company’s sortation product to companies such as TNT and UK Mail, succeeds Sue Douglas, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

Böwe Systec, a developer of hardware and software solutions for high volume mailing companies, is the UK subsidiary of Böwe Systec GmbH, a member of the Possehl Group of companies. The company produces inserting systems and card mailing solutions, specialist software solutions for mailroom management, postal sorting solutions and pre and post vision integrity solutions for print and mail environments.

Joachim Koshier, main board member of Böwe Systec GmbH with worldwide responsibility for sales and service, said: "Waleed has leadership qualities and is an excellent businessman.
