Broadgate Promotional & Financial Print managing director Tony Burrows has accused the industry of selling itself short by offering the cheapest possible prices to win jobs.
"Printers will potentially cut their own throats to tide them over," he said. "We need to hold our nerve."
Burrows comments came after the Essex-based firm won a three-year 1.8m contract to print brochures, booklets and magazines for Investors In People UK.
