The Lake Image IntegraVision system uses a high performance camera to acquire personalised data from documents and inserts.
The process involves inspection through to logging the details which is claimed to provide 100% quality inspection.
Also on show will be the IntegraJet Read and Print system, which combines the performance of the IntegraVision with an inline inkjet for closed face envelope addressing and personalised messaging.
The system tracks the document through the enclosing process and verifies the contents of each envelope. This ensures the correct address or message data is then printed, in-line, at the output of the BB300 Solo.
The BB300 Solo Envelope Inserting System can output up to 8,000 inserting cycles per hour and can handle envelope sizes ranging from C6/DL to B4 formats.
Lake Image Systems managing director Martin Keats said: “We have collaborated with Buhrs effectively in the past, providing camera-reading technology for their inserters.
He added: “We’re very excited to be launching these innovative solutions and to demonstrate them on a Buhrs line.”
The BB300 Solo complete with IntegraVision and IntegraJet systems will be on display at Drupa, which takes place from 29 May to 11 June in Düsseldorf, Germany.
