PrintRepublic managing director Andrew Brian has left the print consumables, kit and services e-commerce firm, which is poised to launch in the Autumn.
Brian has joined another business-to-business dotcom Just2Clicks where he has been appointed as managing director of marketplaces. The firm operates in six sectors including pulp and paper. The moved followed aborted talks about the acquisition of PrintRepublic by Just2Clicks.
Both parties were keen to point out that the split was amicable.
PrintRepublic is not seeking to replace Brian at the moment, the position of managing director will be taken up by chief financial officer Peter Petyt. The firms management team including Petyt and sales and marketing director Mark Smith and business director consumables David Knowles will handle the day to day operations.
PrintRepublic is confident that Brians departure will not disturb its launch plans. Petyt said: "Were keeping focused and going out there and doing the job in hand."
He added: "Weve got the product offering buttoned down. Im very confident we can take it forward with the people weve got."
