PrintRepublic has added ink-jet cartridges to its range of RedLabel own brand consumables and is launching a series of special promotions.
The first of six monthly promotions will be for the ink-jet consumables for Epson printers, which it is claiming will cost around a third less than the manufacturers own cartridges.
The results would look the same side-by-side, said director of sales David Knowles. They come from the same factory.
Cartridges for all the Epson range will be available including the 5000, 7000 and 9000 proofers and large-format printers.
The firm is planning to launch its own range of ink-jet media for proofing and large-format printing in the new year.
PrintRepublics promotional campaign offers further discounts on the highlighted product each month beyond its claimed cut price compared to other suppliers. It will be offering plates in January and film in February.
The firm claims to have signed up 500 members since it launched in October, and is set to beat its initial target of 1,000 members in the first year.
