The Cirencester-based direct mail production house has been renamed Stream Direct Communications. Its new look and website (www.streamdc.co.uk) were unveiled this week.
HFS is an acquisition vehicle headed by Wace managing director Angus Steel and Thomas Potts chief executive Mark Scanlon. It bought the company the former production wing of the Brann direct marketing group in May this year (PrintWeek, 20 May).
Following a post-acquisition strategic review it decided to pull out of litho printing (PrintWeek, 29 July). But Steel said the firm was about to embark on investment in the areas of personalisation, enclosing, fulfilment and IT, adding that the original plant was no longer sufficient to keep up with demand.
"We have had the ideal opportunity to have a close look at the business and put together a focused investment programme centred around our client needs and future requirements," said Steel.
