This year will be the first time the awards ceremony, which are expected to attract between 400 to 600 people has taken place in conjunction with Ipex.
More than 100 entries were received with 14 categories designed to encompass the entire spectrum of UK print.
TJ International is named in four different categories including UK Company of the Year with 100-plus employees, while White Horse Press is named in three different categories including UK Company of the Year with 1-100 employees.
Two new awards will also be introduced this year: the Ipex International Innovation Award and Vision in Print Lean Manufacturing Award.
"With these awards Ipex is being treated as more than just a trade show," said BPIF deputy chief executive Cicely Brown.
"It's a platform for presenting the best of British print," she added.
Brown said the competition this year would be tougher than it has been in previous years.
"All of the entries were of a really high calibre," she said. "In the digital category for example, all of the entries would have been finalists in the years before."
The awards will be presented at Ipex on 6 April at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel next to the NEC.
