It is hoped the machines, which run alongside a Durst Rho 160 Plus flatbed press, will help the company attract new clients.
Managing director Bryan Shirley said: "We have experienced a massive increase in demand for our digital services in recent years."
The printer moved into digital in 2001 with its Durst press, but Shirley said digital output now accounted for 25% of its business.
He said: "We now turn over £4m and our digital operation is equal to the £1m we were turning over in 2001.
"We are projecting a turnover increase of 8% by next April, so are looking to the region of £4.3m."
The 50-staff printer has been producing a raft of work on the new machines, including banners and poster displays on the HP Scitex.
The Scitex XP2700 can output at speeds up to 100sqm an hour and features an optional multi-roll printing kit, which allows for simultaneous printing on two different rolls up to 1.6m wide.
Shirley added: "It was a huge influence in our decision to buy the press. We can print two jobs at the same time, using different diameter substrate rolls if necessary.
"Both presses offer an exceptional blend of speed and quality, which will help us go after more work."
Bluetree to up turnover beyond 4m with two wide-format digital presses
Bluetree Design & Print has bought a super-wide format HP Scitex XP2700 and an Inca Spyder 320Q digital flatbed for its newly-created 930sqm facility, near its main Rotherham site.
