Harlow-based Blue has replaced Inc Solutions’ factoring company and the two printers will also be cross-selling each other’s business.
Blue Group commercial manager David Payne said: "They have dropped their factoring company and come to us rather than face the extortionate prices factoring companies charge.
"But there has been no merger, no takeover and we have not taken on any kit, staff or building."
There had been speculation among industry insiders that the Harlow printer might buy Inc Solutions, which itself controversially bought the assets of 4Cilities in June.
According to Blue Group, the agreement with Inc Solutions, which has a digittal printing facility in the city, allows it to access an area that had previously eluded it.
Payne added: "I should think anybody would want the opportunity to sell the Blue [offering]. These guys led the digital revolution."
Inc Solutions is in no way associated with Enfield-based Inc Direct
Blue & Inc Solutions in 'strategic partnership'
Commercial printer Blue Group has denied speculation that it had bought digital printer Inc Solutions; however, it confirmed the two firms were "working together in a strategic partnership".
