The two-day Global Print Markets conference takes place from 29-30 September and is a new addition to Pira's event calendar.
Pira head of events Ciaran Little said the conference would "bring together the biggest names in the printing industry to assess future scenarios for print at a stunning location".
Target attendees include executives at printing-related businesses, suppliers to the industry, and client companies using print in their marketing and communications activities.
Keynote speakers Mark Thompson, director of sustainability and climate change at Pricewaterhousecoopers, and Dominic Harrison, head of global trends at think-tank Future Foundation, will begin the event by putting print in the context of future global trends.
Other sessions will provide the client's view on future requirements in the publishing, promotional, and packaging markets follow, with speakers including IPC Media manufacturing director Jasper Scott, Unilever's global capability team leader for artwork and decoration Matthew Daniels, and an agency perspective from Ogilvy vice president and production director Laura Hardy.
The programme also features presentations from News International chief operating officer Clive Milner, St Ives chief executive Patrick Martell, and Bezier chief marketing officer Alistair Stewart.
Pira will also share insights from its forecast on the shape of the global printing industry in 2020 "including the types of business that will flourish or fail".
The conference fee is £949, or £849 for places booked before 10 September. Visit http://bit.ly/piraprintfutures for details.
