Taylor Bloxham will install VersoProof this Monday (October 6) running on an Epson 10600 after successful trials. It will be used to produce "quick and reliable" B1 house proofs.
Taylor Bloxham technical colour specialist Chris Bolton said the VersoProof system, which requires manual turning of the sheet, would complement the companys automated SpinJet proofing system.
"VersoProof gives us a little something extra. It has a very nice intuitive interface and doesnt require lots of training," said Bolton.
Communisis One uses its VersoProof system in addition to SpinJet too.
Pre-press manager Paul Hannah said the company had been able to switch to a lower-quality stock due to the quality of the proofing system.
VersoProof, which can print at resolutions of 720dpi or 360dpi, is available for all versions of Epsons large-format printers from the 10600 and 9600 to the 7600.
There are currently 15 VersoProof software users in the UK and around 40 worldwide.
