Bauer's Grazia mag receives 3D augmented reality makeover

Bauer Media's Grazia magazine has introduced an augmented reality issue this week.

Billed as the 'Walk-in, Talking' issue, the cover features an augmented reality code that brings cover star Florence Welch from music group Florence and the Machine to life on the screen of a mobile phone or webcam.

Further codes are printed throughout the issue enabling readers to take 360 degree views in its fashion sections, as well as video walkthroughs of make-up techniques.

Furthermore, Banana Republic is using the technology in its advertising in the issue, offering a video treatment of its Spring campaign.
