It has recently introduced a hybrid printer, Jetrix at the Media Expo, and which it claims is a "true" hybrid printer.
"Jetrix is a simple but perfect printer for indoor, outdoor and industrial applications," said Nazreen Wadia of Arrow Digital. "It has a variety of options, four-colour, eight-colour, white, UV varnish or UV primer for those special materials – a clear advantage over other UV curable printers."
Arrow Digital represents a range of large-format printers in India including Epson and Gerber Solara. But with Gerber Solara deciding to discontinue their inkjet division, Arrow needed a printer that would fit the bill.
"With the solvent era nearing its end, and UV technology become more stable and versatile, we decided on aligning with a company which produced true flatbed and true roll-to-roll printers and one that makes it own inks and understands the needs of UV adhesions. Jetrix was the one," said Wadia.
Jetrix uses the latest Dimatix/Spectra Q class 10pl versa drop engine, which according to Wadia offers increased productivity, fastest printing speeds in its class and improved print quality of up to 1080dpi with less ink and low running cost. The anti-crash and auto power adjustment vacuum systems allow the operator to diagnose the system when not in use.
As the digital printing’s growth expands, there are niche areas in packaging which are, according to Arrow Digital, converting to digital. "Arrow is poised to offer its expertise, infrastructure, and over a decade of inkjet and other digital experience to lead the market. Over the course of the next two years we will be launching several business units armed with special digital printing/cutting equipment, specialised for several high growth industries, including construction," said Wadia.
