The group, which incorporates Trident Printing Limited and Safair Print Services, is already FSC, PEFC and ISO 9001 accredited.
Tony Fairbairn, director of the 28-staffed Armstrong Print Group, said: "We became ISO 14001 accredited, partly as a result of our customers' requests.
"However, it was mainly because we believe that we have a responsibility to society to do as much as we can to preserve the environment for future generations."
The £3.5m-turnover company has a purpose-built site on the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich.
Fairbairn said: "As for what the certification has given us, I believe that as with ISO 9001, it showed us that we already had the practices in place, it was just a matter of measuring where we were making improvements and recording them.
"It has definitely helped with client satisfaction and we have gained additional business because of it. While it does cost money to recycle, we feel that over the long term we expect to make savings by reducing waste."
Markets of the company include data manipulation to sheet-fed printing and finishing.
