Arjowiggins promotes Conquerer range with free padblock

Arjowiggins has sent out 2,500 padblocks to UK designers to promote the FSC and carbon-neutral status of its Conqueror range.

The pads show the array of applications that designers can use the grade for, including corporate stationery, leaflets, reports and accounts. An e-bulletin has also been sent out to 6,500 designers.

The different Conqueror stocks used incorporated in the pad means designers can touch and feel the range of grades available.

The company said it is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its business. It is pioneering and developing energy-free biotechnologies for water and pulp treatment and constantly expanding its recycled paper ranges.

In addition to reducing carbon emissions by 5% over the past two years, Arjowiggins said it has also reduced its energy usage, identifying further energy-saving opportunities to minimise its carbon emissions.

In the UK market, the company said its Conqueror range has achieved carbon neutral status and uses pulp sourced from FSC-certified areas.

Arjowiggins manufactures high-tech materials and papers and has 8,000 staff and 35 paper mills.
