April fantasy football winner nets final places in team for Coventry tie

The April winner of <i>PrintWeek</i>'s Ricoh-sponsored fantasy football contest has just been announced.

NB Group's Graham Fullarton takes the final two spots on the squad to face a PrintWeek/Ricoh select 11 after his Tinofpeas United side picked up 249 points.

Fullarton is obviously a fan of good clean football and even cleaner footballers as his side is led by on and off the field bad boys Wayne Rooney and John Terry.

Add to that Kevin Davies, who has been the Premier League player with the most fouls for five of the past seven seasons, and Joey Barton, who really needs no other comment, and you are well on the way to creating 2011's version of Don Revie's Leeds United.

The match between each month's winning printers and PrintWeek/Ricoh takes place tomorrow (7 May) at the Ricoh Arena Coventry; kick-off is at 3pm.

Although the 2010/11 fantasy football league squad is complete, there is still the small matter of this weekend's big match. It is possibly the single biggest match to have taken place in recent memory, and it is already being talked about as a "match-of-a-generation contender".

It should be a feisty affair, there will no doubt be some tasty tackles flying in and expect the watching crowd to be given an absolute feast of football by some of the hardest-working players in the game.

As for a result, PrintWeek is predicting that Woking will overturn their first leg deficit and beat Farnborough 2-0 to qualify for the Blue Square South playoff final.

Oh, and if anyone is interested, Manchester United and Chelsea will draw 0-0 all but handing the Red Devils a title they pretty much had won in January.

Although the squad is now complete, the May winner and end-of-season champion are still to announce.
