Penultimate fantasy football winner announced

The penultimate monthly winner of the Ricoh sponsored PrintWeek Fantasy Football league has been announced.

Bernard Healy's Scanplus Pathletic FC scored 133 points in March to take the prize of two tickets to a Coventry City game, the chance to play at the Ricoh Arena at the end of the season and a one month advertising campaign on printweek.com.

There is just one more monthly prize to hand out now, with the big match, in which each monthly winner and a friend will take on a combined Ricoh-PrintWeek 11, just over a month away.

With the football season hitting the homeward straight fantasy points are becoming highly sought, as are premier league points in "the real world".

Despite the non-competition at the top of the table, where the title is won, and Champions League spots looking sorted, Spurs is about to lose its entire squad by finishing fifth, the season is still one of the most exciting in recent years.

The reason for this excitement is down to the fact that, with around seven games to play, about 156 teams can still be relegated. A margin of just 10 points separates Everton in seventh with bottom-placed Wigan.

A few big names are still in the relegation mix, including the top flight's second most regular appearance makers Aston Villa, which currently sit just two points above the drop zone.
