The recently installed system is capable of generating 50kwh of electricity for its Bradford factory.
According to marketing director Simon Rose, the electricity produced from the system maximises use of renewable energy sources and has zero CO2 emissions.
Rose added: "As part of our ongoing commitment to the environment, we will continue to reduce our carbon footprint month on month, year-on-year. This also means sharing best practice with both our clients and suppliers from all industries to reach a super-efficient transformation."
AMS's presses use approximately 40kwh when operational, equating to between 15% and 20% of the site electrical consumption, a large amount of which will now be catered for by its 208 panels.
The company also holds certification from ISO quality management, FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Council).
