Under the terms of the agreement, which was signed on 15 April, Indian-based Cadgraf Digitals will sell and service Alwan's products in its home country.

Cadgraf chief executive A. Elangovan said: "Alwan's product portfolio will be a great solution for so many publishers and printers that need simpler, yet high-quality colour management and want to implement a more standardised process like the ISO 12647 standard."

Elie Khoury, president of Alwan Colour Expertise, added: "Cadgraf Digitals, with 20 years of experience in the pre-press industry, is a perfect partner for Alwan as they have an excellent team of specialists in-house that know their clients' needs."

Alwan launched its PDF Standardizer software, which was developed in a joint venture with Enfocus, in February this year.
